"Sit with new people [at] every opportunity, introducing yourself and learning about them, their Rotary club, and their country."
First-time attendees
As a first-time convention attendee, you are embarking on an experience that will inspire you, inform you about Rotary on an international level, and provide you with resources and motivation to move your club forward. Here are some tips for getting the most out of your experience.
Getting started
- Attend an orientation for first-time convention goers. Two sessions will be held Saturday, 22 June, hosted by the International Fellowship of Rotarian Convention Goers.
- Pick up convention materials at the convention center. Have your registration, ticket confirmation, and photo ID in hand. (Your registration packet should include name badges, vouchers, program book, and transportation guides.)
- Pick up ribbons, language stickers, and attendance stickers at the ribbon booth.
- If you're a delegate or proxy for your club, get credentialed at the voting delegates booth. You will need to bring your validated voting delegate form to become credentialed.
Connecting
