"Trading banners or pins is fun to do in the House of Friendship. We have had lapel pins made as a miniature of our club banner."
Thousands of Rotary members and guests from over 150 countries will come together for the 2014 Rotary International Convention in Sydney. Our members include successful business owners, corporate executives, and retired professionals who use their professional skills and knowledge to help others.
Billabong is the Aboriginal word that means “meeting place,” so it is fitting that this year’s convention features the Billabong House of Friendship -- offering a unique opportunity to showcase your service project, celebrate your Rotary accomplishments, share information about your Rotary Action Group, or market Rotary merchandise as a licensed RI vendor.
Rotary International licensed vendors, or RI licensees, are businesses and Rotary entities licensed by RI to use the Rotary Marks in connection with the sale of merchandise. RI licensees may purchase booth space only from Rotary International, and must apply for booth space in the RI-licensed vendor area if they wish to sell or display goods. Contact RI Licensing for information about becoming a licensed vendor.
Apply for a Rotary project booth and share your service project with other Rotary members and the family of Rotary. It's a great way to find partners for your project or inspire others to carry out similar activities. Projects must comply with RI policy, and fundraising and the sale of products or merchandise are not permitted.
Create an exhibit to share your Rotary Fellowship’s accomplishments and to recruit new members. Fellowships interested in selling fellowship-specific products must seek approval during the application process. See the terms and conditions for complete details.
Give your Rotarian Action Group the chance to share information, plan future events, and recruit new members. The international convention is the perfect venue for bringing together members from around the world. Rotarian Action Groups cannot sell merchandise from their booth space.

Does your business offer products without the Rotary Marks that Rotarians would enjoy? Does your nonprofit organization assist Rotary clubs in worldwide service projects?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, contact the Host Organization Committee's chair of sponsorship, Harold Sharp, to learn more about business expo opportunities at the 2014 convention.
