Accredited journalists are welcome to cover the annual Rotary International Convention. You may register in advance for a media badge, which is required for entry. The media badge also grants you entry to the Rotary Convention Press Center. There, Rotary’s Public Relations staff can assist you in getting reserved seating, interviews, background information, and additional resources. Open from 09:00 to 17:00 every day during the convention. The Press Center will provide:

  • Free Wi-Fi
  • A workspace
  • Printing, copying, and phone service
  • Convention details, press releases, and background information
  • Refreshments including light breakfast fare, lunch, and snacks

Transportation and lodging costs are not included.

How to apply for a badge

To reserve your media badge in advance, please complete the media badge request form. You will receive further instructions when your registration is approved. You can also register on-site at the Rotary Convention Press Center from 09:00 to 17:00 every day of the convention.

Media badges will not be issued to children, family, or guests of journalists. Rotary reserves the right to approve or deny any application.

Rotary International reserves the right to modify this policy without public notice and may deny any applicant a media badge.
